Great charming atmosphere at the hotel.
I was very disappointed with my stay. The heating in our King Room failed in the evening, leaving us freezing during the night. Despite reaching out about the lack of hot water in the morning, our concerns were dismissed, which added to our frustration.

I had a lovely stay with an immaculate room featuring high-quality bed linen and generous amenities like tea, coffee, and biscuits. The location was peaceful yet close to Ullswater, making it perfect for exploring the area. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my stay. it would be great to see a more consistent selection of local beers.
